Do you bring your own dogs to in-home dog training in Huntsville and Madison?
Yes.
For some lessons, we can work directly with your dog and the home environment. When the goal is learning around other dogs, a suitable trainer dog can provide planned practice without relying on a random dog walking past.
If your dog gets excited (or reactive) around dogs, we need a real dog in the picture. When it fits the plan and we can manage the setup safely, our personal dogs come with us to those sessions. We manage both dogs and their distance carefully. They give us a fair, repeatable way to desensitize and countercondition your dog to other dogs — on your property, below the level that overwhelms your dog — instead of hoping a stranger’s dog appears at the right moment.
