Board & Train is a conversation, not a checkout button. Before your dog ever moves in, we get the full picture, what's going on, what your goals are, and the right timeline, so the program is built around your dog, not a template.

We build trust before we ask for anything hard. Young puppies learn through rewards and play, without corrections. For older dogs, the approach depends on the individual dog, their understanding, and their readiness. Your dog learns to work because it wants to work with the handler. When a correction is appropriate for an older dog, we use it ethically and sparingly, with as little aversion as possible. From there it's daily structure and real-world exposure, proofed in real environments, not just a training room. Environmental learning is part of training for every dog. During Board & Train, your dog lives with the trainer and accompanies them to classes and appropriate real-world settings to practice skills beyond the home. Real change takes time, so programs typically run two to five weeks; we won't rush it.

The results only stick if you can keep them going. At handoff we teach you every command, cue, and rule your dog learned, so you're running the same system at home. We stay with you after pickup with check-ins and refresher guidance.
