What is Nosework?

Nosework is one of the most natural and rewarding activities you can do with your dog. Modeled after professional detection training, Nosework 101 teaches your dog to identify and locate target odors — using their most powerful sense — in a fun, positive, and low-pressure environment.

This foundational six-session program follows the NACSW (National Association of Canine Scent Work) framework, introducing the “big three” target odors: birch, anise, and clove. Whether you’re looking for a new hobby, building focus for sport titles, or simply want to deepen your bond, Nosework 101 helps your dog learn to use their nose with confidence and precision.

All sessions are held in a calm, climate-controlled environment designed for focus, safety, and learning.
